Location Description:

Created by indie theater icon Cheryl King, this Off-Off-Broadway venue seats 45, creating a cozy viewing experience. Stage Left Studio produces new independent works by local theater artists, and hosts "Best Sexy Theatre" series Forbidden Kiss. Each year the space also hosts the Women at Work Festival and the Left Out Festival. It features a bright, open space with windows overlooking St. John the Baptist Cathedral and Madison Square Garden, which are just steps away. Penn Station and West side subway lines are also close by. Theaters are WiFi equip and handicapped accessible.

Stage Left Studio is the realization of the vision of Cheryl King, acting coach, director, performer, playwright and producer. Stage Left has an attractive, art-filled lobby, connected by a grand doorway to the tastefully appointed 20' x 24' studio, with 45 comfortable chairs, great lighting, and beautiful windows with a view of St. John the Baptist cathedral and Madison Square Garden. Easy access restroom, A state-of-the-art sound and light system, projector and screen, top-of-the-line Roland weighted key digital piano, mics and stands are provided.
