16 E. 46th St. New York, NY 10017 | East 40s | 212-490-8300

Location Description:

Finding a cool, reasonably priced eatery in Midtown is as rare as finding a straight, sexy, single man in this city--until now. Enter Tenpenny, a delightful new spot tucked into the back of the Gotham Hotel on 46th Street. The décor is a little bland, but this ain't your meat-and-potato grub hub. Far from it. Porchetta ravioli with smoked ricotta, broccoli rabe, and a runny poached egg redefines "breakfast for dinner," while a heritage pork rack with savory apple pie is good old American comfort. Come dessert, be sure to try the chamomile panna cotta-the floral-flavored custard jiggles sensuously, like a courtesan who has lost her corset following a good romp.
