Location Description:

The epicenter of New Yorkas sketch/improv comedy scene; many shows start here and go on to win fame at big, fancy comedy festivals. And yet, inexplicably, the vibe is relaxed and friendly, and most performances are $8 or less. Some are even free. Check this place out lest it disappear into the alternate universe from whence it came. Mon-Wed 8, 9:30 & 11pm; Thu 7, 8, 9:30 & 11pm; Fri 8, 9:30 & 11pm & midnight; Sat 7:30, 9 & 10:30pm & midnight; Sun 7:30 & 9:30pm. $5-$8 (some shows are free, call ahead).
