If so, you may qualify for a Mount Sinai research study evaluating a new, non-invasive investigational device for the treatment of Major Depressive Disorder (MDD). Do you have ulcerative colitis and are between 18 and 72 years of age?

Do you have symptoms despite medications?
Are you interested in trying a new therapy for your ulcerative colitis?


If you answered YES to these questions, you may be eligible to participate in a research study of a new potential treatment for ulcerative colitis. Veterans Needed for Paid Research Study

Do you know a veteran with a clinical diagnosis of schizophrenia or schizoaffective disorder?
If so, they may qualify for a treatment study being conducted at the JJP VA Medical Center. This study aims to better understand the underlying brain circuitry involved in why some patients respond to risperidone and others do not.

If they qualify, they will receive 4 weeks of treatment with risperidone and state-of-the-art brain imaging with magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). Reimbursement for time and travel costs is provided.
