Adem Tonight at Union Hall

Adem Tonight at Union Hall

This is how Adem gets Bedhead

While his Fridge bandmate Four Tet was supposed to be in town this week doing his best Milford Graves and Steve Reich impressions, Adem will be strumming an acoustic guitar and murmuring doe-eyed love songs. After Fridge's early-century successes in rock and electronic welding, Adem turned it down a notch. His previous albums were winsome, low-key, and a tad soggy; his forthcoming Takes shows him applying the same snoozy strategies to PJ Harvey, Aphex Twin, and Bedhead. Expect to see all three hairdos displayed down at Union Hall. With Wildbirds & Peacedrums and Sharon Van Etten. — ANDY BETA.

7:30 p.m., $8-$10. Union Hall, 702 Union St., Brooklyn, 718-638-4400,
