Celebrate Brooklyn! Lineup Announced: The Feelies, Larry Harlow, 2/3 Of The Dixie Chicks, And More
Court Yard Hounds.
The lineup for most of the free shows at the annual Celebrate Brooklyn! festival--held at the Prospect Park Bandshell at around dusk--has been announced, and it's full of highlights: the reborn New Jersey act The Feelies, supported by Times New Viking and Real Estate (July 23); the shimmering country of the Court Yard Hounds (aka the Dixie Chicks minus Natalie Maines; July 7); the soul-rock meltdown of The Heavy and the London Souls (June 25); and Latin legend Larry Harlow presiding over a Battle of the Salsa Violins. Much more--including listings for the season's indie-rock-leaning benefit shows and a dance party thrown every Thursday in May--after the jump.
All shows are free with a $3 suggested contribution unless noted.
