No Jokes Allowed The Beauty Bar 8 p.m., Free. You want weird? We'll give you weird. Stand up is BANNED at this half-booked, half-open mic show where performers workshop characters, sketches, and bizarre anti-comedy of all stripes. Steven DeSiena and Stephen Whalen host the show that never fails to create "holy shit" moments.
Friday, August 16th
Uncorked Comedy City Winery Doors 8 p.m., $5. Be a little fancy and enjoy comedy at City Winery. There are "Crush Hour" specials ($5 off glasses and $10 off carafes), as SNL Weekend Update contributor Laura Prangley hosts these perfect, self-contained Friday comedy dates.
