Americana songwriter and fixture in New York's folk scene, Peter Arvo has made the rounds in the city's renowned Gaslight Café, the Jalopy Theatre, and Pianos as well as having run his own Sugar Mountain Showcase in the East Village. He'll be releasing his first album on July 15th, produced by Jerry Marotta (Peter Gabriel, Hall & Oats, the Indigo Girls). It's "as if Johnny Cash had hips," he says of the sound. It moves.
