When we announced last month that Top Dawg Entertainment's Ab-Soul would be headlining our Official 4Knots Music Festival After Party at Webster Hall our inbox immediately filled up with congratulatory emails from very excited fans of good music. "Oh, word?!" they said. Word. "No way this gets any better!" they also said. They were wrong. Because we've just added Jarren Benton and YC the Cynic to this already stellar bill, which we're co-presenting with our good friends at the Brooklyn Hip Hop Festival! The show will now serve as the After Party for both festivals, and we're adding two of the hip-hop's most influential curators to help out too, DJ Meka (of 2DopeBoyz) will be spinning between sets and the party will be hosted by Low Key (of Youheardthatnew). July 12 just got a lot hotter.

Jarren Benton, of course, has had an incredible couple of years. His video and song "Skitzo" hit like a bomb not too long ago, and he was just named to XXL's Freshman Class issue, a big deal honor that was well earned. "Skitzo" is below, and you should watch it. But maybe not alone.

On the flip side, we've loved YC the Cynic for quite some time. We premiered his video "The Heaviest Cross" (also below) not too long ago, and we're happy to add a bit of Bronx flare to Jarren's Georgia-roots and Ab-Soul's Cali-swag. (Read more about Ab-Soul here and watch his new video, "Stigmata," featuring Action Bronson and Asaad below.)

The whole thing kicks off 7 p.m. on July 12 at Webster Hall after a long, fun day in the sun at South Street Seaport. The After Party is 19 + and you can purchase your tickets here. . SEE YOU THERE!
