Since the Om album only has two songs totaling under 34 minutes, you're perfectly welcome to classify that thing and the 40-minute, one-song Everlovely Lightningheart album as singles insteadboth definitions fit both records, though oddly neither has enough tracks for an EP. Om's first track features a monotoned vocal-as-pulse that I associate more with Underworld's "Born Slippy" than with, say, Can or Hawkwind, evidence that much current metal (even unsynthesized stuff) might owe as much to techno as to rock. The Everlovely one has ever-lovely medieval lute-like spaces and quasi-tribal oil-barrel rituals and war-whooping and rocket-whooshing luring you into an ending that lasts way too long. But you're probably supposed to be asleep by then.
