Slum Village's Titus 'Baatin' Glover, Dead at 35
Terrible news out of the Slum Village camp: Titus Glover, a/k/a Baatin, was found dead in Detroit on Saturday morning. Beyond noting that the rapper "did not appear to die from foul play," the authorities haven't specified a cause of death. Glover is the second founding member of Slum Village to pass in the last three years; J. Dilla, the group's wildly creative producer, died in 2006. "We lost another Slum soldier, a dear friend and a brother," Slum Village's T3, who is surely sick of making statements like this one, told the Detroit Free Press. "He touched many lives."
