Stream Male Bonding's Awesomely Damaged Noise-Pop LP Nothing Hurts

The UK trio Male Bonding play little jagged pop songs equally influenced by Black Flag, the Black Keys, and hazier stuff like Ride; dual vocalists Kevin Hendrick and John Arthur Webb manage melodies that wouldn't be out of place on any number of early '90s K Records releases. Either way, most tracks are over in two minutes or less. They're sort of like a more articulate No Age, and better songwriters to boot. The band was a rare highlight at Todd P's MtyMx Festival, and their debut LP, Nothing Hurts, is out on Sub Pop next month. For some reason, it's streaming in full at Sound Cloud right now, and hence embedded below. "Pumpkin" destroys everything. Enjoy!
