This dude will fit right in on 29th Street.

You'll hear about this one way or another, so might as well be from us. Insane Clown Posse will headline their first Manhattan show in eons at the Gramercy Theater on Friday, April 29. Horrorcore harlequins Violent J and Shaggy 2 Dope were already going to be in the TriState area that same weekend for their Bamboozle stint with Mötley Crüe, Lil Wayne (!), and Das Racist (!?!), but have extended their local visit to somehow magically play a Friday night show. This is a big deal for a few reasons:
1) ICP, as you might imagine, tend to be popular in the suburbs, hence they haven't brought their sticky-sweet carnival to our fair island in quite some time;
2) Even their spider-legged proteges Twiztid, who usually headline B.B. King when they ride down the East Coast, didn't come to New York City on their last tour;
3) Meme-hunting New Yorkers don't have to trek to a Kentucky-bordering campsite to go Juggalo-spotting this year;
4) This announcement gives us another opportunity to repost one of Psychopathic's truly awesome updates.
This is one of those shows that you've been beggin' for, Juggalos. You kept puttin' out the call and we've been tryin' for YEARS to make the fuckin' stars and planets align so this shit could go down. But you know how we roll at Psychopathic Records! It might take some hella time and a shitload of elite ninja skills, but in the end when we want to do something we don't stop until we do the damn thang! Nothing can hold us down! And this time it looks like April 29th, 2011 is going to mark the momentous occasion when we break through all barriers once more!
We're talking about the Insane Clown Posse making their highly anticipated return to perform in New York, NY! They tried to keep the wicked clowns out of their town, but that shit wasn't goin' to fly with Violent J and Shaggy 2 Dope! They are hittin' The Big Apple and they are comin' back with a mutha fuckin' vengeance!
This thing will be a veritable blog-ninny press conference, but tickets are already on sale, and if you'd like to purchase the "ICP Bamboozle Package" for $127, be aware you'll get a ticket to this show, a two-day pass to Bamboozle, and a one-year subscription to Rolling Stone. That's what it says, we swear.
