Tonight! Surf City, Bachelorette, Radical Sons, Box Elders, and Fruit Bats

Ah yes, Fruits Bats in a Forest

Assemble at Union Hall tonight and sing "Dickshakers Union" with Surf City: a delightful way to kick off your week. When you're done with this pack of primitively plodding noise-poppers (with openers Bachelorette and Radical Sons), head to Bruar Falls, where you'll find Box Elders, a group of blithesome vinyl-rockers with dusty organs and giddy, distortion-charred vocals. Elsewhere, Shins buddy band Fruit Bats hold court at Bowery Ballroom, easing into sweetly spun folk jams that instantly make lyrics about, say, ripping a tooth from one's mouth romantic. That particular song is called "Seaweed."
