Fluxtumblr posts The Ian Svenonius Anthology, which has sucked at least an hour out of our day and sparked some fierce internal monologue argument as to the relative merits of "The Sound of Jazz to Come" (left off) versus "Last Train to Cool" (included) versus Cupid Car Club (one song) versus etc., etc., etc. The tape's chronological run goes from Nation of Ulysses though the Make Up and and not-so-great Weird War before ending just short of the Chain and the Gang stuff due out next week. Matthew's typically modest prelude: "He's a very prolific man, and this set only scratches the surface of his catalog, but I do believe this anthology covers the best of the best, and will leave you wanting more." Indeed.
