Dressing up multiple-personality disorder in everything from a highly coiffed Reba McEntire red ’do to a long-blonde-mullet “don’t,” singer/comic/DJ Amber Martin melts away into a variety of characters the moment she crowns herself with her acrylic locks. In her new show WigShop, Martin shape-shifts in the style of character greats like Lily Tomlin and John Leguizamo, turning from the Texas-born former pageant queen that she is into a small-town wig-shop employee as well as the many customers who come looking for hairy salvation. Soul-funk singer Cyrus Baty guest stars, and Mark Levy spins rock hits and oldies after the show.
