10-Year-Old Brooke Shields Nude in London Show Provokes Outrage
Over in London, the Tate Modern has included in its "Pop Life, Art In A Material World" exhibition a Richard Price photograph of a Gray Gross photograph of 10-year-old Brooke nude in a bathtub. Though, as the prior link indicates, this image is freely available to anyone with an internet connection, the Daily News says it is an occasion for outrage. A children's advocate says, "Putting a sign on the door like that means every pedophile in the land will head straight to that room," presumably wearing long, filthy raincoats and fiddling about. The London police say they'll investigate if complaints are made. Somewhere Eric Clapton is laughing his ass off.
