15-Year-Old Accused of Two Bronx Murders
"Her slight build and young face betraying the serious charges she faces," per amNY, 15-year-old Sharell Butler of the Bronx is accused of killing two men, one by gunshot, one by stabbing. Prosecutors say Christopher Umpierre was shot in his apartment during a robbery attempt on December 19 and robbed of cash and drugs; John Hopkins-Drago was stabbed on December 21 in his apartment on Pelham Parkway, then stuffed into a garbage bag and left in an alley. Both crimes were allegedly committed "in the company of others"; Butler, whose street name is Lady Red, is said to be a member of the Bloods.
