America Has Grown Weary of 'Presidential Contender' Donald Trump
The reality-show-business-person-famewhore who is Donald Trump -- who might or might not be running for president -- is no longer so popular in America. It seems the whole birther issue kind of lost him some fans -- that and the fact that Barack Obama was orchestrating a raid on Number 1 Terrorist Enemy Osama Bin Laden while Trump was just mouthing off about some birth certificate. According to a new survey by Public Policy Polling, reported by the Daily News, Trump has fallen from onetime "most popular" in the GOP field to least, tied for fifth place with Ron Paul. Now the leading GOP contender is Mike Huckabee, followed by Mitt Romney, Newt Gingrich, and Sarah Palin. Neither Huckabee nor Gingrich have yet announced they will be seeking the nomination, which means we can expect Trump to continue to tease out his possible run for as long as he gets any sort of publicity from it.
