And Let's Give Thanks to You, BJ's Wholesale
Lusting after a luxury slipcover? Holding out for a cordless cookie press? The Friday after Thanksgiving is your day, Frugal Franny. Bust through murderous mobs fighting over half-off toaster ovens and that $9.99 Cool Water fragrance can be yours! Of course, the truly sweet loot is in the suburbs, where the Costco Santie Claus dwells. Yet beyond our laughable Astor Place Kmart, there is hope. We offer up a few noteworthy sales weve found out about from the larger retailers, as well as some choice sample sales this weekend and into December.
H&Ms entire stock is 25 percent off this Friday from 7am-10am; from 10am-2pm, it drops to 10 percent.
Spend $100 at any Banana Republic, get $20 off; spend $200, receive $50 off; $300, and its $100 off. The Banana Republic sales started last Saturday and goes through next Sunday.
Warner Home Video, Universal Home Video, and select Disney DVDs are priced at special low rates; take an additional 50 percent off all clearance items through the weekend; and search through hundreds more CDs added to Virgins Gifts Under $10 section.
Apple Store One-Day Sale
The annoyingly secretive Apple Store kept the exact details of this Friday-only event under vaulted lock and key (i.e., they didnt get back to us). But with this much mystery, its got to be good. When does the Apple Store ever go on sale?
Were not sure how picked over this is by now, as its been going on for a week already. But its 40 to 70 percent off selected fall merchandise, and it runs through the weekend.
Take 25% off all sale merchandise, including mens, womens and juniors denim. Sale will run through the weekend.
