Another Snowstorm on the Way for NYC?; More Protests in Tunisia; Mike Bloomberg Gives State of the City

Good morning! It's another gray day, but hang in there -- it should clear up by afternoon. Of course, there's also another snowstorm on the way, which could pan out as either a light brush...or a major snow event for New York by Friday. Currently snowfall potential is "highly uncertain." • Tonight President Obama is hosting a state dinner for Chinese President Hu Jintao, who is on a trip to the U.S. to discuss trade, currency, and North Korea. The two will also hold a joint news conference. [CNN]

• Protesters have taken to the streets again in Tunisia to demand that Prime Minister Mohamed Ghannouchi, a member of the new government who is seen as "the right-hand man of the ousted dictator, Zine el-Abidine Ben Ali," resign. [NYT]

Regis Philbin is retiring at the ripe old age of 79 at the end of his contract year for Live With Regis & Kelly. Which means this coming September is basically the end of an era, for people who watched Live With Regis & Kelly. [NYP]

• As part of today's State of the City address, which Mayor Bloomberg will give today at 1 p.m., he is proposing a new category of livery cars that would make on-street pickups outside of Manhattan, like yellow cabs. [SILive]

• Connecticut Senator Joe Lieberman will announce today that he won't seek re-election for a fifth term. [NYT]

• The man who fell into the gap between the train and the platform at Union Square and was stuck there (sustaining significant injuries) for a half hour before being rescued plans to sue the MTA and NYC Transit for $15 million. [NYP]
