Apply to Become The Village Voice's Video Intern
Handy with a camera? Have a knack for capturing the news? Well, The Village Voice has a great gig for you.
This summer, The Voice is bringing along a video intern who will work with section editors, reporters, the web editor and art director to contribute online multimedia productions. She or he will be expected to produce a brief segment each week, as well as other long-term projects over the course of the semester.
Excellent communication and organizational skills, well-developed creative and production skills, and a comfort level in working independently and juggling several projects on tight deadlines is a must.
Candidates must be proficient in Apple Final Cut Pro, with some knowledge of Apple Motion as well as any editing software the intern may own.
To apply, send a résumé and clips to firstname.lastname@example.org. Please include "Village Voice Video Intern" in the subject line.
Applicants who are not enrolled in school and who are unable to receive academic credit are ineligible.
