Armed Robberies At Starbucks Locations in the Village?
Poor Starbucks employees: company stocks are dropping, stores are closing, and now, some mad men are robbing them at gun point and herding them into the freezer at locations around the Village.
We learned about these armed robberies this afternoon while buying an iced coffee to celebrate the sunny weather at the Starbucks on Astor Place. A police officer standing by the milk and sugar station was distributing a flier to a store manager and warning him about the robberies, which have also occurred at area Jamba Juices.
The officer said the robberies began in mid-March.

There have been several recent armed Robberies of Starbucks and Jamba Juice locations.
These Robberies were comitted by (3) male perpetrators described as (1 to 3) male/black, all between 5'7" - 5'8", and approximately 165 lbs.
These Robberies have occured in the morning, usually upon opening 6:00 am - 9:30 am.
The perpetrators display a hand gun, force an employee to open the safe, then remove cell phones and force all employees into the freezer.
