Arrest Made in Bronx Homicide
Cops say that Stephen Bolt, of 1690 E. 174th Street, The Bronx, killed Dawn Monaco -- his live-in girlfriend -- and arrested him today on murder charges, according to a New York Police Department statement.
Monaco, 47, was found unconscious and unresponsive around 7 p.m. Monday, cops say.
When paramedics arrived to treat Monaco, she was pronounced dead.
The police just announced Bolt's arrest. He is being held on charges of murder and criminal possession of a weapon.
Bolt, according to some reports, called police from a pay phone Monday, and said that he'd killed Monaco -- allegedly telling authorities that they could find the body at the apartment.
