Barack Obama Thinks It's 2008
2008 was a good year! And we were so much younger then. So we can hardly begrudge our very busy president who's currently in London for signing the guest book at Westminster Abbey, where he also laid a wreath at the Grave of the Unknown Warrior, today (May 24, 2011) with a "24 May 2008" (at right). ABC News reports that a White House official is blaming this all on jet lag. According to the Telegraph, "Mr Obama was heard to ask the dean what the day's date was -- but managed to get the year wrong." It seems that Obama is truly having a series of very human moments. Or maybe he's just messing with us? [JDoll]
