Bed Bug Insurance Is Here; Bed Bugs Still Attacking
Finally some potentially good news in the ongoing war against bed bugs: insurance. According to a press release issued yesterday, Aon Risk Solutions, Global Excess Partners, and Terminix have joined forces to provide bed bug insurance for "hotels, landlords, student housing, corporate businesses, and leisure travelers." Look what you can get: "discounted rates for mattress encasements and bed bug kits for greater peace of mind." Peace of mind is exactly what we need.
The Brooklyn District Attorney's office might want to consider getting some coverage. The Brooklyn Paper reported Friday that the D.A.'s office has once again succumbed to the wily ways of these blood-sucking beasts, which were last reported there about a year ago in August. One assistant district attorney said: "How can I put the bad guys away when it feels like I'm being eaten alive?" Don't take it personally. The press release features this lovely statistic:
