Bill Murray Says He Was "Just Dead," Now a "Pinball"
In an unusual interview with AP, Bill Murray admits to feeling suicidal over his recent divorce. Pushing his new film City of Ember, Murray talks about his recent divorce, saying "with watery eyes" that "I was just dead, broken," and that when he agreed to skydive for charity in Chicago this summer, "I didn’t even care if there was a parachute." But now the former SNL star and Oscar nominee is in a manic phase -- "I want to bounce off like a pinball. Like a pinball, I want to bounce off bumpers that are positive" -- and has been grabbing scripts with the compulsiveness of a Dan Ackroyd -- he's even interested in the new Ghostbusters movie. We'd prefer to see him do more Shakespeare, preferably Malvolio, but we'll take what we can get. photo via dkaz (cc)
