Bloomberg Must Pay For Campaign Volunteers
Most people who canvass for city candidates are unpaid volunteers who do so out of devotion to the cause or to gain political credentials. But the world's richest mayor apparently knows better than to ask peasants to work his hustings for free. So his vassals have placed a craigslist ad seeking "well-spoken, persuasive, confident, and hard working" people to "have one-on-one contact with voters on a daily basis." You'll get hourly pay plus "transportation costs and food." Send your CV to firstname.lastname@example.org and help return democracy to its roots -- as the exclusive province of land owners.
