Car Mysteriously Appears in Marc Jacobs Window
A beat-up white sports car cryptically appeared late this afternoon in the Marc Jacobs store for women at the corner of West 11th and Bleecker in the West Village. Nobody cares what they're trying to sell, but everybody's wondering (a knot of curious bystanders instantly appeared on the street) how the ghostly car got there, since none of the store's windows or doors are large enough to admit an actual car, no matter how small. It's like an outsize ship-in-a-bottle, and a spray painted slogan on the wall reads, "Car 4 Sale Make Best Offer." Some stunt, huh?
Just for the record, Jacobs himself resides in the apartment above the store.
