Cell Phone Thieves Target AT&T and T-Mobile, Avoid Verizon Like the Plague
Since December, three men have been entering T-Mobile and AT&T stores all over New York City and stealing display phones. They cut security cords, pocket the phones, and flee on foot. During at least one of the 17 or more incidents, a knife has been displayed and a security guard has been assaulted.
Verizon has thus far gotten off scot-free, for reasons unknown.
The men are described as black males, 19-25 years old, 5'8" to 6'2" tall. Two of them, Raheem Henry, 22, and Raymond Kornegay, 28, are pictured.
