Central Park Picking a Mascot; These Are Our Nominees
We thank Gothamist for alerting us to the Parks Department's invitation to pick a mascot for Central Park. But the Department's nominees -- Nutty the Squirrel, Hudson the Hawk, and Parker the Leaf -- don't do it for us. We therefore humbly submit the choices pictured above: "Rambly the Rambleman," who will bring park users back to the days when the Ramble was the funnest place in Fun City (and maybe still is), and "Yuppette the Picnic Princess," who spreads joy on the Great Lawn with her basket of wine and artisanal cheeses. If we think of more we'll let you know; please do likewise.
