Crime Beat: Kid-Abuse Case Tossed after Brooklyn DA's Inaction -- Report
Sitting on its thumbs, the Brooklyn DA screwed up a horrifying child-endangerment case involving an autistic Staten Island lad and an allegedly sadistic bus matron, the Post reports, and a judge finally threw it out.
The bus matron allegedly taunted the boy, 8-year-old P.J. Rossi, and allowed him to smash his own head against a bus window time after time. The parents nailed the case on audio tape after they grew suspicious, the Post says.
The Brooklyn DA apparently un-nailed it, according to the story by Edmund DeMarche and Alex Ginsberg.
On the tape, she's allegedly calling the boy "a little dog" and telling him to shut up. He had to be hospitalized.
