Dominique Strauss-Kahn Case Is Getting A Law & Order Episode
The next season of Law & Order: SVU will feature an episode about an important European official visiting New York who is accused of rape. Remind you of anything? Franco Nero, an Italian actor and husband of Vanessa Redgrave, will play the ersatz Strauss-Kahn character.
A publicist for Wolf Films, the production company behind Law & Order, would only tell us that they're "not confirming anything, just talking about the actors involved" and that "Law & Order is fiction."
Fiction inspired by fact, that is. L&O is known for its ripped-from-the-headlines content, and the juicy DSK case will be particularly good fodder. Who will play the maid? Or Anne Sinclair? The staff of Runnin' Scared hereby volunteers to play the pack of photogs who hang out outside of DSK's townhouse every day.
