Emma Roberts Swears She Didn't Mean to Cut the Cronut Line
The Daily Mail reported last night that actress and accused boyfriend-beater Emma Roberts committed a cardinal New York sin yesterday.
She tried to cut the cronut line.
Can you imagine the sweet little girl from Nickelodeon's Unfabulous perpetrating such a heinous act? For shame, Emma!
New Yorkers take lines very seriously. Just a couple weeks ago, WNYC's Brian Lehrer set aside an entire segment of his show for New Yorkers to call in and vent about their summer line-waiting experiences.
Onlookers reportedly told the Daily Mail yesterday:
Upon seeing a queue of hungry customers winding around the block, the 22-year-old and her publicist allegedly attempted to skip to the front, but were sent to the back of the line by the doorman.
Emma apparently then slunk back to the end of the queue but gave up on waiting after several minutes.
That's not how it went at all!, protests Roberts.
She told her version the story on Fallon last night:
...and then he gave her a cronut.
