EMT Who Posted Murder Victim's Death Pic Arrested
We never thought we'd feel actually sorry for Mark Musarella (pictured), the former EMT who took a picture of dead Staten Island murder victim Carolyn Wimmer and put it up on his Facebook page. But first he lost his job over the tasteless act, and then Wimmer's parents sued him, and now he's been arrested and charged with "misdemeanor official misconduct," which could put him in jail for up to a year. It's enough to make you wonder about Musarella, who used to be a detective yet for some reason switched to first-responder. A "suggested" career switch? Desire to help? Desire to take dead people's pictures? Anyway there's not much left they can do to him except bring him up on federal charges for violating Wimmer's civil rights. Photo via Staten Island Advance.
