Female Subway Slasher Is Attacking 4 Train Riders
Cops and commuters are looking for a woman who's been attacking people at random on the 4 train in the Bronx. She's described as black or hispanic, between 17 and 25 years old, 5'5", and 165 pounds. The first reported attack happened on September 6 around 4:20 p.m. The attacker slashed a 19-year-old woman with a sharp object across the face on the 170th Street station. Six days later, the slasher attacked an 18-year-old woman as the train arrived at Mount Eden Avenue.
Police say the woman was wearing clear plastic gloves, a black hoodie, and a thick green bracelet.. They haven't ruled out that the crimes may be gang-related.
