Former Former Nets Shooter Jayson Williams Rampages, Is Tasered, Goes to Psych Ward
Apparently Jayson Williams bugged out. The former Nets star, who was found not guilty of manslaughter after blowing away a chauffeur with a shotgun in 2004, became "suicidal and violent" this morning at the Embassy Suites at Battery Park City, and was tasered by police, who then remanded him to the psych ward at St. Vincent's. TMZ says "a female friend" of Williams' placed a 911 call and that "prescription drugs or alcohol were a factor." Williams' wife filed for divorce in February. This video shows the player in happier times.
