This, too, has to do with free stuff online, but we're not sure how we feel about it: apparently eBay is gunning for Craigslist's business. The online auctioneers have bought up "two Denmark-based classified ads businesses," says MarketWatch, with an eye toward building a global ad empire. Will the avatars of online greed o'ertake the public-spirited Craig? Not easily, thinks MarketWatch.
Let's observe the rule of three with a more traditional form of freeness: per What's Up NYC, there is no admission fee to L'asso's "Encyclopedia of Pizza" launch at Mott Street and Kenmare, 5-10 p.m., with "pizza sampling" and "booze."
