Gaddafi Pitching Tent for Trump?
The Huffington Post is reporting that Libyan leader Gaddafi will be living on the lawn of Donald Trump's Bedford estate during his stay in New York this week for the U.N. General Assembly. While Trump's people deny this, HuffPo's citing a souce with direct knowledge of the arrangement -- a resident of Bedford -- who says that the 213-acre Seven Springs estate is indeed where Gaddafi will be pitching his elaborate, Bedoin-style tent.
Like fellow despot Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, Gaddafi's had trouble finding a place willing to let even let him through the door while in town (that whole "hating America and wanting to drown the Jews in the sea" thing carries quite a stigma). He's been turned down by several hotels and was denied a permit to set up camp in the middle of Central Park.
