Gap Invites Your Little Girl to Dance, Buy Clothes
Along with its usual quotidian fashion, The Gap now offers your girlchild free drop-in ballet classes at 680 Fifth Avenue, near its 54th Street flagship, weekends from noon till 4 p.m. through April 26. Their partner in this "Tiny Dancers" program is Ballet Tech, run by famous choreographer Eliot Feld, who lauds The Gap's "broad-reaching efforts to help young people fulfill their potential." They will also be selling clothes -- "from flowy tulle skirts [$29.50 - $44.50] and rhinestone leggings [$14.50]" -- for which your little ballerina will shriek if you let her get within ten feet of the place. Just letting you know. Photo (cc) a tai.
