Gay Marriage Starts Early in D.C.

Yeah, fellas, we've heard that before (especially from conservatives mad at him being friendly to Democrats), but your related article doesn't back it up. Keep digging!

The cause for this impropriety is the first day of legal gay marriage in D.C.. At 6 a.m. Angelisa Young and Sinjolya Townsend were first in line at Moultrie Courthouse to get their papers.

Not everyone's tickled about it -- the local Archdiocese has cut health benefits and its foster care program just to keep their employees from covering same-sex partners and homosexuals from caring for their children. And challengers tried and failed to get Chief Justice Roberts to block the marriages in his capacity as circuit justice for D.C.

Everyone else seems to be having a great time, though.
