Grate Collapses at Brooklyn Yeshiva; 20+ Children Injured
As they used to say in the old days, this goddamn city is really falling apart. A grate caved in at Torah Elementary School in Brooklyn, and at least 20 students are hurt. The kids -- all girls, age 10 through 12 -- had gone outside to have a picture taken, and were standing on the grate next to the building for it when the collapsed, dropping to basement level. Torah is a yeshiva for orthodox Jewish students in Kensington/South Slope.
