Have You Seen... Holiday Subway Platform Robbers
Some folks decided to get some Christmas money by robbing citizens on train platforms, showing no respect for the season or the city's reputation as an oasis of low crime.
These two stuck up a man on the 7th Avenue/Flatbush Q train platform in Brooklyn on Christmas Eve. Perp #1 is described as black, 20-25 years old, about 5'10", wearing black jeans, a red Yankee jacket and construction boots; Perp #2 as black, 20-25, about 6'0", wearing a black jacket, knitted cap, black headphones, blue jeans and "multi-colored" sneakers.
Then, around 8 p.m. on Christmas Day, this crew is said to have robbed a man on the Bushwick-Aberdeen platform of the L train. Perp #1's black, 19-25, about 5'10", wearing blue jeans red jacket black hooded sweatshirt and black boots. Perp #2's black, 19-25, about 6'1", wearing a red sweatshirt, black vest, black knit cap, black headphones, blue jeans and white sneakers.
