Illicit Tebowing Results in Suspension for Long Island High Schoolers
Tebowing.com (of course).

From planking to owling to horsemaning to Batmaning to whatever other stupid craze people are doing while, more often than not, getting their pictures taken and posting them online, enter Tebowing. What is Tebowing? Do you even have to ask?

What is Tebowing? (vb) to get down on a knee and start praying, even if everyone else around you is doing something completely different.

Groundbreaking! Conceptual! Dangerous.

Tebowing caught on at Riverhead High School in Long Island and started spreading like wildfire: hot, beautiful, devastating. According to the New York Post, school administrators told the kids -- led by 17-year-old twins Connor and Tyler Carroll, football and baseball players and probably sort of terrors, or at least mischievous creative types who come up with pranks like mass-Tebowing -- to stop Tebowing, but they simply would not stop. This caused a safety hazard because Tebowing was just too much fun, and like lemmings, the other kids would Tebow in turn -- 40 students on Wednesday, all Tebowing. Imagine that in a school hallway! People might trip, and what if someone was carrying scissors?

The students, for their part, said they were just kneeling in tribute to Tim Tebow, like, you know, a moment of silence. Religious, but more. Transcendent. And also that they weren't warned, as the school administrators say, which isn't really fair.

Their mom Sherry threw them under the bus, however, and said "they had no religious intentions when they organized the kneel-downs this week." Connor and Tyler both had to serve one-day suspensions, while the other kids who participated were pardoned.

One should learn at an early age that stopping to do anything in a hallway is looked poorly upon. Hallways are for moving! Tebow on your own time, kids. Or pay the price.
