Iloune Driver, 19, Arrested in Brighton Beach Shooting
Nineteen-year-old Iloune Driver has been arrested for the shooting of five last week at the Brighton Beach Boardwalk in Brooklyn. A 16-year-old bystander, Tysha Jones, was killed in the attack and four boys were injured. Police believe there were two men firing on Thursday, when local city schools were closed, in connection with "an earlier fight on the beach in which one man was hit with a beach umbrella and another man was knocked in the head with a bottle," the New York Times reports. Driver is being held on charges of second-degree murder and assault. [NYT]
