Kenneth Cole Uses Egyptian Protests To Sell New Line
The Egyptian protests could be one of the most serious world events of the last ten years, so it's only natural for Kenneth Cole to liken them to fashion madness. We're not sure anyone in Egypt cares what Kenneth Cole has to say about their situation, but it was pretty ballsy of Cole to makes jokes about the situation when journalists are getting attacked and the violence is still raging.
Kenneth Cole went to twitter about an hour later to clarify his joke:
Oh, you weren't making light of the situation, you were just using its newsworthiness for your own personal gain? Totally. Thanks for clearing that up.
