Kid Spouts Off on Facebook, Faces 7 Years on Terrorism Charge
See, this is why we never make jokes at Runnin' Scared: an 18-year-old St. John's student put a "threat" on his Facebook page to pull some "Virginia Tech shit" against his classmates and teachers, and now it's national news. Radames Santiago says he was drunk. he's sorry, he'll never do it again, etc. Police charged him with making a terroristic threat; he faces up to seven years in prison. We doubt they'll put him in prison, because now everyone knows about him and would notice if he were locked up for what's essentially a prank. The actual Virginia Tech shooter, readers may recall, was careful not to make his homicidal sentiments public until after he started killing people.
