Late Edition: Crown Heights Sex Assault, NY-13 Nods; Yankees, Mets Suck

WCBS reports a "series" of sex attacks in Borough Park. A 14-year-old was pulled into a car and thus victimized on Sunday night, and police believe, for reasons unmentioned, that the "clean shaven man with black spikey hair" who did it is the same man who sexually assaulted a 4-year-old girl last year. Assemblyman Dov Hikind offers a $20,000 reward for the assailant's apprehension.

NY-13 Primary Update, courtesy of the NY13 Blog: The National Organization for Women (NOW) endorses Democrat Stephen Harrison for the Congressional nomination! But his opponent Michael McMahon get the nod from the NYC Concil of Carpenters. Which do you think is going to deliver more primary votes in Staten Island and Bay Ridge?

The Yankees are "finding new and creative ways to lose," says River Avenue Blues. The Yankees were leading the Jays 1-0; Alex Rodriguez tried to turn a bloop single into a double and was caught out; the Jays rallied and won, 2-1. "It would be nice if the Yankees had some fight in them," says Pinstripe Alley.

Meanwhile Yankee Pride, Legacy Division took a blow in Osaka, Japan, where former pitcher Hideki Irabu drank 20 mugs of beer, smacked up a bartender, smashed bottles, and was arrested, Yahoo News reports.

Don't laugh, Mets fans: Billy Wagner is officially out "indefinitely."
