Latest "Leave Sarah Alone!" Rant from WSJ
The Wall Street Journal's Daniel Henninger defends Sarah Palin, whom he depicts as a spunky Everywoman who is "able to connect to people in places like Bronko's bar or Saddleback Church," and is opposed by the "Beltway media" and the "left-to-right elite centered in New York, Washington, Hollywood and Silicon Valley who hand down judgments of the nation's mortals from their perch atop the Bell Curve." Henninger, a Georgetown graduate, closes his peroration with a glowing and, he seems to think, dispositive endorsement of Palin from... Lorne Michaels of Saturday Night Live. Wasn't there a plumber around he could talk to?
