Linda Stein Murder Trial: Killer Stepped on Her Back and Gave Her 24 Whacks
In the most gruesome court testimony of the year so far, a city coroner showed the jury in the Linda Stein murder trial that the killer — allegedly Stein's assistant Natavia Lowery — stepped on Stein's back and then whacked her in the head as many as 24 times.
If Dr. Michelle Stone's testimony is to be believed, Stein was helpless after the first blow and may have even suffered a fractured spine when the killer stepped on her before administering the beating.
Stein and Lowery had a business dispute, but if Lowery did indeed kill her this way, this beating was personal, not business.
